Hertz offers a portable navigation system which is a route guidance system that provides turn-by-turn driving directions to many destinations in Romania by means of an in-car LCD video screen and computer-generated voice instructions. However, this equipment is not bookable via the internet. The navigation system is available under request for all vehicle groups at all locations in Romania. The additional fee is EUR 9.00 (excluding tax) per day with a maximum of EUR 90.00 (excluding tax) per rental.

The following credit cards are accepted as forms of payments: Amex, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard and Visa. Full Credit Vouchers (FCV) are also accepted.

It is available in the following languages: Czech, Dutch, English, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Magyar, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish. One-way rentals with this equipment are possible for an additional fee of EUR 20.00 (excluding tax) per rental between cities within Romania and without any additional fee if the drop off takes place in the same city. International one-way rentals with this equipment are only possible to Budapest, Hungary, with special approval from Hertz Romania and with an additional fee of EUR 100.00 (excluding tax).

Please note:
You will be charged for replacement of damaged or lost equipment as follows:

• Display Unit: EUR 420.00 (excluding tax);
• Carry Case: EUR 30.00 (excluding tax);
• In Car Charger: EUR 40.00 (excluding tax);
• Device Holder: EUR 30.00 (excluding tax);
• Receiver Mounting Windshield Bracket EUR 50.00 (excluding tax);
• User's Manual: EUR 10.00 (excluding tax).

The portable navigation system is not included in the usual Hertz covers in the event of loss or damage during the rental.

IMPORTANT:

You must comply with traffic laws.
Hertz strongly recommends that the portable unit be removed when the vehicle is left unattended.
