Quality and Environmental Policy Statement



      AAA AUTORENT S.R.L. runs a vehicle rental business in Romania as Hertz International Franchisee.

The Company’s prime objective is to offer high quality vehicles and services that fully satisfy the client’s current and future needs and requirements, always keeping in mind the necessity to strictly control the impact, which its day to day operation may have on the environment.

The Managing Director conducts the Company’s Affairs including the Quality and Environmental Management. It is his/her direct responsibility to ensure that:
  • the objectives of the Quality and Environmental Policy are clearly determined and that they are communicated to the Company’s entire personnel, including the Provisions of the Policy, the Measurement and Control Mechanism ensuring that the Company’s activities remain under control and that the Integrated Management System is continuously improved;
  • all personnel obtains proper training, providing them with the necessary knowledge required to apply the provisions of the Integrated management System and to improve their professional aptitudes.
As the vehicles Rental Services offered by the Company may impact the Environment, the Top Management undertakes to issued and maintain a clear set of Management Rules such as:
  • Continuously maintain and improve its Environment Management System in order to prevent pollution;
  • Adopt rules and regulations to protect the environment, in accordance with the applicable legislation and further requirements decided by the Company’s Management regarding performance, efficient use of resources (water, electricity, heating etc.) as well as reduction of fuel consumption by allocating an adequate number of vehicles to each vehicle rental location, thus avoiding to have to move vehicles between the various locations;
  • Reducing fuel consumption and preventing an increase in carbon dioxide by effecting inspections of the vehicles of its fleet at shorter intervals than recommended by the manufacturers;
  • Improve the Company’s general Waste Management through volume reduction, environment friendly disposal and recycling;
  • Important criteria when selecting a supplier shall be his efforts to prevent impact on the environment and suppliers having in place a Quality and Environment Protection System shall be preferred;
  • Implementing an efficient control system regarding the Company’s Infrastructure and Fleet Maintenance as well as proactive plans to prevent emergencies.
All the foregoing is dealt with in the Integrated Management System implemented in accordance with the SR EN ISO 9001:2008 and SR EN ISO 14001:2005 Standards. The Managing Director together with the designated Head of the Integrated Management System shall review the results of the System as often as deemed necessary but not less than twice per year.

The Company’s Quality and Environmental Policy will be made available to the entire Staff of the Company as well as to any third party having a legitimate interest. The Manual to the Incorporated Management System together with the relative Procedures describe the requirements of SC AAA AUTORENT SRL’s business activities. They are distributed to all Company’s Employees in a controlled manner.
