Certification according to SR EN ISO 14001:2004 and SR EN ISO 9001:2008 confirms Hertz Romania’s commitment to quality and responsibility towards the environment

AAA Autorent SRL - HERTZ Romania obtained on 09.07.2009 in Bucharest, recertification of the Quality Management System according to SR EN ISO 9001:2008 and certification of the Environmental Management System according to SR EN ISO 14001:2004. Both Certificates, valid until June 2012, were issued by the certification body Bureau Veritas, after the audit conducted in June 2009.

The renewal of the Quality Management System certifies the progress made by HERTZ Romania in quality processes at management and operational level. The quality offered and clients' satisfaction are company’s prime concerns, also considering the need to keep under rigorous control environmental issues arising from everyday work.

Certification of the Environmental Management System according to SR EN ISO 14001:2004 confirms the company’s commitment to adopt environmental protection measures in accordance with applicable law, to reduce fuel consumption and prevent the increase of CO2 emissions. Also, HERTZ Romania assumes responsibility to improve waste management at an organizational level and to dispose of waste in a safe and responsible manner and to give preference to suppliers that commit to prevention of environmental pollution.

AAA AUTORENT SRL (former Sepoy Tourism International SRL) operates under the HERTZ franchise since June 1995 and currently is the leading car rental company in Romania. In Romania Hertz serves clients through its franchisee AAA Autorent SRL, HERTZ from 16 rental locations such as downtown offices, hotels and airports - in Bucharest, Arad, Constanta, Cluj, Oradea, Timisoara and Tg.Mures. On request and against a modest additional service fee Hertz will also serve its customers in any other Romanian City.
